Colne FC Announce 2026/27 Pre-Season Schedule

Colne FC are delighted to confirm our pre-season fixture schedule ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, a season that promises to be one of the most exciting in the club's history.

As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, supporters will not only have the chance to commemorate three decades of Colne FC, but also get their first look at Andy Harrison's squad as preparations begin for the new North West Counties Football League season. With new signings set to feature alongside familiar faces, pre-season offers the perfect opportunity for fans to see the next chapter of the club take shape.

Manager Andy Harrison will use the seven-match schedule to build fitness, integrate new players and fine tune his side ahead of the league campaign.

Saturday 27 June

Colne FC v Macclesfield XI (Home) | 3:00pm

Pre-season gets underway at Holt House against a Macclesfield XI. The Silkmen have re-established themselves as one of non-league football's success stories in recent years, and their representative side will provide a strong opening test for Harrison's squad.

Saturday 4 July

Colne FC v Padiham (Home) | 3:00pm

A familiar Lancashire derby follows as Padiham make the short trip to Holt House. The Storks are always competitive opponents and this local encounter should provide another valuable workout for both sides.

Friday 10 July

Nelson v Colne FC (Away) | 7:00pm

One of the standout fixtures of pre-season sees Colne travel to neighbours Nelson. The historic rivalry always creates a fantastic atmosphere and supporters can expect a competitive evening under the lights at Little Wembley.

Monday 13 July

Colne FC v Southport XI (Home) | 7:30pm

A Southport XI visit Holt House for what promises to be another stern examination. The National League North club have a proud history and their squad will provide quality opposition as preparations continue.

Saturday 18 July

Middlewich Town v Colne FC (Away) | 2:00pm

The Reds head to Cheshire to face Middlewich Town. A well-run club with ambitions of their own, Middlewich will offer another competitive test away from home as fitness levels continue to build.

Tuesday 21 July

Colne FC v FC United XI (Home) | 7:30pm

FC United XI are the visitors for the final home fixture of pre-season. With FC United renowned for their strong footballing philosophy and talented players, supporters can look forward to another entertaining evening at Holt House.

Saturday 25 July

Hurst Green v Colne FC (Away) | 2:00pm

Pre-season concludes with a trip to Hurst Green. The fixture provides one final opportunity for Harrison to finalise his plans before competitive action begins, while giving players one last chance to stake their claim for a starting place.
